Smart: Journal of Healthcare (SHealth) is published triannually (three times a year) to ensure a steady, timely, and consistent dissemination of high-quality clinical and healthcare research.

The journal officially releases its scheduled issues in the following months:

"Online First" Publication Model

To facilitate the rapid dissemination of time-sensitive scientific discoveries and public health advancements, SHealth employs an "Online First" (Continuous Article Publication) workflow.

Once a manuscript has successfully completed the rigorous double-blind peer-review process, is formally accepted by the editorial board, and the final copyedited proofs are approved by the authors, the article is immediately published online. It is assigned a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and becomes fully citable before the official issue release. These published articles are subsequently compiled and formally paginated into the next available scheduled issue (February, June, or October).

This triannual schedule and continuous publication model are designed to support authors in rapidly sharing their empirical findings with the global medical community without compromising the journal's high editorial standards.
